Clear intent matters more than ever. The Elthian AI Licensing Lite plugin lets you declare, in every channel AI crawlers may actually look, how your content may (or may not) be used.

What you get (all free, forever):

• Global default license (choose from NoAI, NoTrain, UseOnly, NonCommercial, Public, or Custom)
• Per-post & URL overrides for granular control
• Automatic publishing to:
  • robots.txt (safe append — works with Yoast/Rank Math)
  • llms.txt endpoint
  • HTTP headers (X-Robots-Tag, Link rel=ai-policy)
  • .well-known/ai-policy.json (structured Schema v1.0)
  • ai-license-sitemap.xml (per-URL visibility)
• Optional visible badge (footer, content bottom, or shortcode)
• Clean admin dashboard with policy preview & diagnostics
• Privacy-first: no telemetry unless you explicitly opt in

Why choose Elthian’s AI Licensing solution

• Zero cost, zero risk — install and see results in minutes
• Consistent signals across your entire site (no drift between posts/templates)
• Future-proof: built on standardized capabilities (training, RAG, search, commercial use, etc.)
• Seamless upgrade path: when you need scoped rules, verification, signed evidence, or multi-site — Pro is one click away

Completely open & transparent No hidden upsells in the plugin. No forced accounts. No data collection by default.

Common questions

• Does this block AI crawlers? No plugin can force compliance — but Lite makes your intent maximally discoverable across every major signal channel.
• Will it conflict with my SEO plugin? Designed to play nice — appends only to robots.txt, no override conflicts.
• Can I upgrade to Pro later? Yes — your settings carry over seamlessly. Pro adds scoped rules, central verification, signed snapshots, analytics, and multi-site.
• Is my data sent anywhere? No — unless you explicitly enable opt-in sync (off by default). Even then, only policy metadata (no content).
